2013 Camaro 1LE!!! 2SS/RS/1LE

This is the Ashen Gray Metallic 2013 2SS/RS/1LE that a friend brought over and detailed with me.

Looks clean right?

NOPE! It's water spots galore. Not bad water spots, but they are everywhere.

Wheels:

Process was:

1) Clean wheels with OPC 1:9 dilution and various brushes and daytona speed master.

2) Clean tires with Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner.

3) Rinseless wash with Blackfire Wet Diamond Rinseless.

4) Clayed using Fine Grade Speedy Prep Towel and Adam's Quick Detail Spray.

4) Spot polished with Blackfire SRC Finishing Polish and 3" Griots Garage with Hydrotech Tangerine Polishing Foam.

5) Rinseless wash with Blackfire Wet Diamond Rinseless.

6) 1 coat of Adam's Americana Wax

Just detail spray. We tried some products like PERL and Adam's VRT and didn't get the right results we wanted. Matte black sucks lol

Thanks Mike! To be honest, since the car was so new, very little correction was required. Thankfully, as it has been raining a lot in Gainesville lately.

The gray color from 2010 to 2012 is cyber gray metallic and the gray from 2013 onwards is ashen gray metallic.

Ashen gray seems a shade or two darker, but if you didn't have them side by side, you would think they are the same color.

Took a scratch and a few waterspots right out!

Only needed it in only like 3 spots though

P.S. In aid of trying to keep those nasty water spots from staying on your ride, try using a few coats of sealant and a few coats of wax on it at all times and don't park near any sprinklers that you know of or not.

Yeah, on my Camaro I have opticoat so don't worry too much about all that... This camaro will probably be EXO'd or opticoated at some point in early 2013

haha yeah, the reason I don't worry about it is because I know opticoat won't wear off and since I wash my car twice a week, no need to worry about the water spots

Yeah GM cut it because it was too hard to put the hash marks on at the factory lol
