2011 BMW 335is Correction, Detail, and Touch Up

This BMW 335is came to me with quite a few problems. The trim was oxidized, the brakes rusty, the clear bra was in desperate need of cleaning, and the paint was very neglected. You could tell this car spent its life outside or under a car port where the passenger side was hammered by acid rain. The car is about 70% clear bra'd; including the entire hood, front bumper, front fenders, a-pillers, entire roof, side skirts, and rear bumper. So there isn't a whole lot of heavy polishing that went into this car. Anyhow, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves....ENJOY!

Amazing! I think every detailer has looked at their caliper/hub and thought about making it look better. You went above and beyond on this detail. Great job!

Great work !!!!

Reminds me of mine. GREAT CAR

Thanks for the compliment Ron. I wouldn't mind having one. It surprised me how well it drives.

Fantastic work...Love the calipers and hubs. Very nice touch.

Thank you for the kind words Pat. It wasn't as nearly as hard as it looks.

Thanks Ray!

Looks great and amazing attention to detail and work!

Just a suggestion... when I wash a car, I always take the license plates off. That way you get all the dirt and grime hiding behind it, plus its a small thing that most people overlook.

Again though, great work and results!

Thank you for the compliment. That is a great suggestion! I love doing subtle things that many don't notice, because when someone finally does it means more to them. I will definitely be doing that for now on.

Made me homesick

btw. the caliper/rotor rust is typical bmw

Wow, that is identical Ron! Great taste in cars bud.

Wow, that's an intensive correction. I'm shocked you got SIP1500 to finish LSP ready, nice work!

Thank you for the compliment.

looks great! I owned the same model car before and they're a ton of fun. Im wondering why the side mirror caps are white and not black. Maybe this was an early 335is?

No clue? I just noticed on Ron's old 335is pictures it has black mirrors as well. I wonder if they were painted?

Maybe you or Ron can answer this next question for me.... I didn't really mess with the exhaust tips because they appeared to be naturally painted/coated black OEM. I wiped them down quickly with a old towel and QD and the inside "rim" of one tip showed some polished metal but the outer part of the exhaust tip was still black? I then tried a little bit of metal Polish and nothing changed. So I let the owner of the car know what was going on and I wouldn't mess with it further until I knew whether it was paint/coating failure or if they were suppose to be polished. I couldn't find anything on the BMW forums, so maybe you guys can help me out.
