Detailed my sisters car today. Car is washed often, usually at drive through car washes. Wish she lived closer so i could keep it up but oh well.

Car had wash induced swirls pretty evenly around the car, very few light rids.

Wanted to do a single step polish to get most imperfections out and bring the gloss back.

Started with the engine.

Soaked with simple green, agitated with brush then pressure washed clean, and treated with armorall tire foam

Thanks! m205 does pretty well, it didnt get everything out but turned out nice.

I used Meguiars hot tire shine. Has always been my favorite

Nice!

Did you do anything special to the engine components before power washing - such as covering alternator or anything??

Thanks i was very happy with the motor, i didnt cover anything. I did avoid hitting the alternator and electronics on the right too hard with water.
