2010 Aston Martin DBS Volante

I was contacted by my local Aston Dealer to prep their first 2010 DBS Volante for delivery.

The color is Lightning Silver with Blood Red Interior/Silver Stitch.

The paint was in good condition with light marring and holograms.

The defects were hard to capture with the silver metallic paint, but I was able to catch one of the holgrams with the LED light.

Well on with the show........

Thanks for looking.

Stunning work on a stunning car! I prefer the coupe, but this ain't bad :woot2:.

I particularly like the "healthy look" that you gave to the tires with your dressing. What dressing did you use? That is the ideal "sheen" that I strive for when doing tires. :up

One question: Perhaps I'm Americanized and used to my Avg Joe cars having "door grabs" to help you close the door while you're seated and closing the door. What do you grab in the DBS? You grab the Map Pocket and close the door? :cooleek:

that is a very beautiful car, even better the B&O system, at LEAST a 3k option. What size pads did you use and backing plate? I'm thinking about switching my 6" backing plate with a 5", and running 5.5" pads for more control.

i was wondering the same and was also going to do the same. It would be nice to have a few different size backings and pads. Hopefully in the future i can do that.

Looks like it might be the 3M or Gloss It backing. I'm prob. going to try the Gloss It at some point.

I think the blood red and chocolate interior is b1tch1n.

Looks like that is the Meguiar's so1o backing plate if I were to guess.. that's the one I have.

I got this BP for $27 shipped. It's the exact same as the 3M one they sell for $60 or so. The car looks AWESOME. So mean looking. The red top is a must go, a hard top would be slick. Great job Richie.
