OK, I came to this forum as a loyal Griot's user - no complaints. I slowly switched to 303 and then Blitz, before I tried Zaino. After about a week of application - Z1, Z5, Z5, Z2, Z2, Z2 with Z6 between the layers - I am convinced. I went to a party tonight and its the first time I really saw the car next to others. People at the party are "car folks", and their cars looked very clean, but my little Subey shined like a diamond in a sea of gravel. Amazing.

Thanks, this is a great forum!

Welcome to the congregation, Brother! You have seen the light! Or, uh . . .. that is . . . shine.

We have another Zainite!

(no disrespect intended for our co-religionists, the Klassians, who also walk the true path, albeit another branch).

Hey guys/gals,

Over the last three days I detailed my 2009 Honda Accord Sedan and now I'm here to show the results. I forgot to take before pictures of it not washed, but it was just filthy. The paint condition itself wasn't bad what so ever, very fine swirl marks. I got the car in Feb of this year and it has about 17500 miles on it. It came out to be about 95%-98% corrected as there were some fine scratches I couldn't remove with the method I used but I am not complaining. Please let me know what you guys/gals think it and I would like to thanks all you guys/gals on here and a few from another forum.

That's a nice looking car. Actually looks better than new!!! Excellent process and photo. Nice work!:cornut:

Thank you! I really enjoyed doing this to my car. I'm unsure if you saw the rest of the pictures since I accidently posted it without completing it, but obviously you'll see it if you read this. :)

Good job there. Ton of protection on it with all those DuraGloss products used. 501 is one of the best out there.

Thanks, I like the DuraGloss products alot (its only my second time using it though, first time was about 5 months ago). They are simple to apply and remove. Eventually I will convince myself to get the BFWD, but this shall do for now.

The interior looks great too. Don't you just love a clean car? You're one of us!

I do love a clean car, always did, but I go to school full time and work part time so I don't have much time to spend with my car. It gets a wash at least once a month but the interior probably gets a vacuum every few months. I am the only one who drives it though and most of the time all the areas except for the drivers area is clean (but the drivers area isnt filthy either). For the most part, how you see my interior now is how it always is.

Great job there staro0989, the Honda is awesome looking.........:wizard:

Thanks Angelo, I really appreciated your advice with my detail!

Wow, that paint looks 3" thick :w00t:

Great job and thanks for posting at Truth In Detailing :soldier:

I would only wish Honda's paint was thick. lol But glad I can trick the mind of it being thick. Thanks for the kind words, and no problem. This is only one of two forums I actually stay active in.

I was out earlier getting a Sunday paper and saw a 2010 Accord Coupe still with the drive out. I swear that car looked like a Bentley Coupe for a second or two :out:

Great job on the Accord. The flakes are really poppin:thumbup:

I used to have an Accord. I loved that car.

Don't you love when your car looks great, and you did all the work to make it look that way?

Keep up the good work!
