Curious to see how many dub owners on the forum and what they drive. I've only included current models, but if you have an older model (Corrado, Fox, etc.) just put your info in a reply.

After one and half years i decided to detail my wife's Denali. This is it's first wax since new. The car still looked good but had quite a few marks in the paint from the conveyor car wash and normal wear and tear over the 1st year and half of it's life. i didn't take but a couple of before shots due to not sure how much time and effort I was going to spend on it. The before shots look pretty bad but really couldn't be seen unless you put it against a bright light or bright sunshine. I spent about fourteen hours, so it wasn't a fast process, but I was determined it would look perfect.

This time I tried the blackfire paint sealant I see everyone raving about on this site. It was unbelievable and I will definitely use it going forward. So if your looking for a good paint sealant I would recommend it.

Are you coming back to cloverleaf to race your cars anytime soon? I saw some guys out there a few weeks back. Looked like fun 4 sure :rockon:
 
J - nice job on that hulk of an SUV. I don't envy you keeping it that way as black is a natural scratch magnet :Swordfight:

That Denali looks like no other that's for sure!
When you get some time, tell us what your method/s were, etc..

Have to agree, BlackFire Wet Diamond is pretty hard to beat when you have done excellent prep work, as has been done here.

We are all proud of you and hope you enjoyed the satisfaction of a job well done.

Now, everyone is going to be pulling over when they see you coming up on them since it looks like a CIA/FBI/Presidential Pursuit Vehicle ! :):):)

I was just there last week and finished 1st in both classes. We had a big turnout, around 50+ drivers. Won't be back in Memphis till next year. Memphis has been one of my better tracks this year. I raced two different times and my worst finish was 1st, so I can't complain.

The steps was as follows.

1. M105 wool pad (I really like this)
2.Menzerma PO85rd LC Tangerine pad (I really thought I would like this wax but it just didn't get rid of the swirls) Looking back I would've went straight to the 3M SE and skipped this step.
3.3M SE polish with a LC red pad( I really like this wax. It may be the best wax I've ever bought to date) If you use this there will not be one swirl in the paint, it goes on easy and comes off with no problem.
4. Re-Washed the car
5.Blackfire Paint Sealant (I really liked it it was my 1st time using but I plan on using it again for sure.

By the way, is that a 2010 Silverado I see in the background?

It is very hard keeping up black paint to that level that you created. From the looks of things, you are up to the task.:rockon:
