It was in the works for a while. This was the right car to demonstrate the combined effort. We didn't even discuss money, it was more of a social arrangement. I hope to do many more as you learn a lot while the work is happening. The money will come, first is love of the work.

I didn't really mean that the money got in the way, just the fact that this was for a client correct? So being the first time doing so were you guys a little hesitant at any time. Or did either or you feel out of your element ever?

It was at my garage, so you would have to ask Sean. I am not the best social host and I know this. my wife comments frequently. But I let him have free reign on the products and procedures he wanted to use on his half of the car. Sean is a pro and we all know this, I had no concerns.

Why the SIP and then Z-PC? Aren't they both used for swirl removal? (Im new to this by the way) I was thinking that it may have been overkill and took off too much clear but maybe Im way off.

Toyo245, Sean is one of Autopia's best detailers. He has been a member on this forum since 2003. He has over six thousand posts. So to answer your question, yes you are way off my friend. :dig

Well while Ptaylor is right in his points let tell you why...

SIP is for swirl removal

Power Gloss cut 5 gloss 1.5

Super Intensive Polish cut 3.5 gloss 3

Nano Polish 106FF cut 2.5 gloss 5

PO85RD cut 1.5 gloss 5

as you see it's middle of the road for gloss

Z-pc would give you that nice glossy finish your looking for...

there for you need to do a TWO step polish..

now you need to look at the pads also...which add their own cutting ablity also

Once again Sean puls through with another spectaular detail of a difficult color!:wow: :2thumbs:

What else can we say except...:bow :bow :bow :bow

You can have at my Porsche anytime...:woot:

Oh and yes I still have the Souveran paste for you just sitting here!!:p Give me a call.

Next time, ask the owner if he saw a black 997 C2S with a wing go flying by him one day. :p

Regards,

Deanski

Gezz looks gorgeous.

All i have to say is that clean detailed cars look SOOOO good with snow around them. Makes them look even cleaner.
