2008 black friday deals

I can't wait for Cyber/Black Monday

+1

I won't be going out for black Friday (huge crowds drive me crazy) but I usually pick something up online during black Friday sales. I already bought a 42" LCD for $500 this year.......

I hate the crowds and then I just end up buying crap I didn't need in the first place.

I'll probably get up real early, run to sears real quick and grab what I need and be back home before anyone else gets up. Nothing really big this year - just a few little items that would be nice to have but I wouldn't pay full price for.

Oh- and with Shop Vacs - get there early or they'll be gone. I've noticed over the years that the stores only have a few at the special price...I think they use those to suck people in.

Yep. Every time I go for the one 'special item' that I want, it is sold out. Getting a deal is one thing, but I'm not going to camp out in front of the store to get it.

Northern Tool has a folding aluminum platform on sale for $26 (or so). I use one like it for trucks and SUV's.

There isn't a lot of tools or detailing stuff on sale that I have found at the retail stores. Even a quick scan of Harbor Freight didn't find anything. I think the online detail places have some great deals for stuff right now, though. :2thumbs:
