Referral from another Audi client this recently purchased S8 needed some help! Client requested Modesta BC04, the top of the line. He had the PPF on the front removed prior to our seeing the car. The line you see is a million tiny scratches where the film edge was lifting and dirt was rubbing the finish. After decontamination with Griot’s surface prep, iron and fallout remover and clay, we had a clean surface. Cutting done in 2 passes using Griot’s fast correction cream on a microfiber pad, polishing done with Griot’s perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad, and refining with Griot’s perfecting cream on a black finishing pad. All with the 15 and 6 inch with a 3 inch pad. Nothing over speed 4. Finished with Modesta Primer on a black finishing pad. Paint coated with Modesta BC04, plastic trim with Modesta exterior trim coating, glass with glassparency. Tires with Nanolex tire and rubber. Wheels had just been refinished so we left them alone. All in all I was happy with where we ended up. No where near perfect but acceptable. Thank you for looking!
