2007 Toyota Camry- PwS

budman3

Detail time!
Well it sure has been a busy week for me. I had a Scion on Tues., the bike on Wed, a Toyota Pruis yesterday and a Toyota Camry today. The owner just wanted a wash and wax and an interior wipedown on this car. After the wash I noticed some nice dealer installed rotary holograms along with other light swirls. I washed with Megs NXT and a shmitt. I knew the paint needed more than a coat of wax so out came the PC, LC orange pad and Poorboy's PwS. The LC light cut orange pad left some marring so I followed that up with PwS and a LC white polishing pad with the PC on speed 5. Well... I think the results will speak for themselves :D

After the wash- not bad only 10,000 miles:

Looks like you have the market on Toyota this week. Great job on the Camry! Gotta love the PwS. :bigups

Were the rear wheel well liners covered in that fuzzy trunk liner looking material? Just wondered how that holds up to snow and salt?

Lots of Toyota's this week... just coincidence. The rear wells kind of baffled me... now why in the world would they put carpeting in wheel wells???? It is still holding up fine but thats with only 10,000 miles so far. All that I did to it was rinse it off ....

I was told that it was for sound reduction in the interior. I just cant believe that it will hold up. Of course, I still would like to see steel wells.:D

alot of the high end cars are coming with carpet wheel wells for sound dampening

Yeah, my car has the carpeted rear wheel wells and a couple of other vehicles that I've detailed have had them as well. I like having them on my car, because all they need is a good spray down and they're clean.

Great job on the Camry! It looks like it got some much needed attention.

Amazing how some people just think that a wash and wax is all it needs.

I'm sure the owner was more than pleased that the car got that extra attention.

This is actually a company car and the company needs to approve any expenditures over $75 so we decided to keep it under that amount. He was happy and it'll probably give me more business as well.
