2007 Shelby Cobra GT500 (Mustang)

Here is a pic of the motor. It starts with a Triton 5.4L truck block and is filled with forged components and heads from the Ford GT and is backed by a specially geared 6 speed tranny. The configuration is very close to that of the Ford GT. Some are speculating that the motor is just a detuned version of the Ford GT motor.

Here is a great shot showing the outward differences between the Shelby Mustang Cobra and the Mustang GT. Notice the front facia is very close to that of the original '05 concept Mustang.

LOL it looks like the Shelby is smiling, while the GT is frowning.

I guess it feels a little inadequate parked next to the Cobra. :D

The downside the NY Auto show is that it is SOOOOOO crowded. It's plain awful. In fact, it has kept me away fro the past couple years. Although I do miss the huxters selling their detailing supplies and gadgets!
 
Very nice. hopefully a convertable model will arrive next year.



Also a small thing, but do not like the cobra of to the side..think it would look better in the middle
