This custom painted SRT8 Charger belongs to a fellow car club member. He was headed to the Chrysler show in Carlisle PA and wanted the car dialed in.

All looks great!

How about teaching us about your process to get to these results?

I agree the car looks better without that silly sticker.

Cheers,

GREG

Richie good to hear you're still knockin' 'em down. Another stunner with some of the best 50/50's of recent memory. The swirl/defect removal is always good, but the absolute clarity you were able to bring out is truly stunning. Hope the owner appreciated your great talent!

Never posts products or process.....:nixweiss:nixweiss

The "Bing" and I answer queries in PM's all the time................... DAILY, we were both villified for being whores of certain products in the past and had detailers in our markets try and low ball us on price with the knowledge gained from OUR write ups. So there you go asked and answered as there is a reason for everything.

I remember our conversation about that, so I don't blame The Bing for not sharing either. Nice work Richie, that's a wicked paint job!

You act like posting the methods is like leaking government secrets. Detailers post their methods on cars all the time. It's called conitributing to the forum. If posting why type of pad you used with what polish is going to cause the market in competitive detailing pricing to fall apart then why would we even have Click and Brags in the first place. When you don't post information but just pictures of the car I look at it and say "Another thread of 50/50 pictures...Gee that's nice". To me it gives the purpose of these type of threads to be "See How Great I am".

So Pat when all my former posts with all the information contained therein was posted before I was not trying to be "Great" but now I am?, I explained why I do what I do and believe it or not I do some stuff you might not be aware of that helps me produce the results I get everyday.

Maybe some of the guys here who I have talked with for more than an hour in the middle of a busy day trying to get a car completed can chime in about "helping the community". It seems to me that quite alot guys now are lazy and do not do thier homework or use the search function. When I started my service there was no "Internet" where you could glean info from you had to learn by trial and error most of time and also do your do duty and learn about how modern paints are made and what will or will not work.

If you had someone Pat in your backyard who one of your customers told you that he said "I know what Pat knows and I charge MUCH less" you might feel differently about the info you gave out, so do not try and make this out as a ego thing on my part because you are wrong and you do not pay my family's bills....I do.

Hey Bob - it is funny that you then turn around and do the same. :D

Thomas, you would have done well to not mention this out loud so ............... I questioned you for stumping so hard for a product that is not very good and you know it, name one top correction guy using the "product" you love so much?. When I give a review on a product it actually works................... as the results speak for themselves. I bought the stuff based upon you saying it was "Incredible" I tried it with every pad combo, machine, speed etc........ average results and I thought how can this guy be saying this........ thus my pm to you asking just that. Any questions?........doubt it at this point. Try and pile on on a weaker target next time.

Bob my comments were not directed at you so please don't take it that way. By no means were they made as a personal attack to your or your business. I do understand your reasoning. I have always looked forward to your threads and write ups. I find that you explain why you do certain things and for what reasons. I find you to be one of the top detailers that I know.

However, if I wanted to see pictures of Aston Martins and other cars with no description of what was done to them or with what products then I might as well swing by the AM dealership and pick up a 2010 brochure.

To those who replied to this write up and commented. Thank you.

To those who keep pressing the issue of what products and processes I use, I have my reasons for not posting them and if I wanted to post them I would have put them in the write up.

Pat, as a Senior Moderator I would expect you to conduct yourself in a more professional manner and not initiate drama in my thread.

When you rely on detailing as your sole source of income we'll see how quick you are to give out your processes and product choices.

If I remember correctly this is the Pro Before and After section not Show and Tell.

OP - I apologize for taking your thread OT.

The detail looks awesome. :bow :bow

BOB -

Didn't you have a big arguement with the "world's best detailer" who said that Gloss it was no good? Does that mean that it wasn't?

1 - I mentioned it because you questioned my integrity.

2 - that UNO is not very good? And I know it? I have never used another polish that looks this good, works this well and finishes as well as UNO.[/B] In fact UNO is the only polish I use now with the exception of SSR3 (CG version). If you don't like it, that is fine. No hard feelings, as I really don't care what you or others use to get the results. And you shouldn't care either. If it didn't work for you, (as I tried telling you in the PM) 3D received complaints that UNO was slinging too much and 3D added thickeners to it. I ordered 3 32oz bottles and couldn't even get the product out of the bottles. That batch was pulled from the market after I complained and after 3D looked into it. So it was either user error or a batch issue. The product works.

3 - I don't know any top correction guy using gloss it, isn't it what you like so much? You have to come up with something better. :)

4 - I don't recall doing an actual review of HD UNO, but I do list it and if someone asks I do suggest it. I also love 105, (SIP, etc..) but I hate dust so while UNO can and will take a bit longer, I love the lack of dust. It does dust with a wool pad if you apply too much though.

PS: I paid for every single product from HD with the exception of their QD (love it) that was sent to me (I asked) for a detailing class. I also asked and gotten small sample stuff from AG for the same class.

Thomas you must be the only one on the detailing boards who does not know that I seperated from GI over a year ago(very observant on your part I might add) and what I said I liked about the products from there I still stand by to this day, my issue was a personal one with the owner. I walk it like I talk it, always have and always will as I do not wring my hands or go with the prevailing winds by sticking a wet finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing.

I too paid for everything in my relationship with GI in money or work, I thought a team was being built to help the detailing community and was on board with something I felt was going to be nice someday................. and we know how that turned out. So take your your not knowing false assumptions and kindly keep them to yourself from here on in.

NICE!!!!

So now it is my false assumtion? Sorry if it hurts your ego that I don't keep up with you. I appreciate your threads but that is all.

In closing, take your own advice. If something doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean that the product doesn't work.

Heck even a rubbing compound from walmart works.

I don't care Bob wether you did or not. I never questioned you. I always assumed that you were a standup guy.

YOU questioned MY integrity.

UNO works for me. Can you live with that?:soscared::soscared::soscared:
