2007 Buick Lucerne interior challenge.

This is a 2007 Buick Lucerne I did a few weeks ago for a friend of mine. He called one day and asked if I could clean up his dads car for him and said that the interior was going to need some real help. He then went on to say one day he was at his dada’s house and saw some deep scratches on the door and front fender. He asked what happened and His dad told him there were some spots on the car and he had used a SOS pad to try and get them off. I told him I would do what I could but an SOS pad can do some real damage.

When I picked up the car the thing that concerned me the most was that where he had used the SOS pad there were also small dents and he had really scrubbed the paint aggressively. With the scratches being at the bottom of the dents it was going to be a real challenge to correct them fully without burning off the clear on the outer edges of the dent. I was able to achieve about 85% correction with wet sanding the scratches. Luckily the color lended to hiding them and the rest of the car was pretty straight forward no real surprises just awfully dirty inside..

Thanks guys, I just talked to him yesterday and he said his dad was extremely happy with the car.

Now thats what I call a thorough cleaning!

I rented one of these cars once, and really enjoyed driving it. Great highway car!

You get car detail jobs like I do, none of these cars that look like they came from a show room, but a daily driven car, that to me is true detailing !! Very nice turn around !!
