Today I'm at GT Pro in Fullerton restoring a 2007 Z06 Corvette with only 200 miles on it. I wasn't clear if the poor finish was caused by a detailer the owner hired or it came from the dealer this way. Regardless, it was going to need some help.
Because this performance shop was still working on the car, the newly installed BBK's meant the original wheels wouldn't clear, so they had to leave it on the lift. This also meant that I couldn't flood the shop with water with a hose to wash it, so I pulled out my QEW and did the two bucket wash method using a lambswool wash mitt.
