This is a detail of a 2007 Bentley Continental GT in Diamond Black. Several months ago I was contacted by one of my clients who wanted to give a gift to a friend of his. The gift was that I would detail 3 of the friends cars for him. This is the second of the three.

The Bentley Continental GT is such an amazing automobile. It sports a W12 engine that puts out 552 hp and goes 0-60 in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 195 mph. It does all of this while being truly luxurious.

The car was extremely well cared for by the owner. Garage kept and very well maintained which made the detail pretty easy. I did have some issues with 106ff dusting on me but I ended up adding a drop of Optimum Polish which seem to help some.

Process:

Presoak via foam gun with Eagle One soap and CG CWG

Wash via 2 BM and Megs NXT soap and sheepskin mitt

Clay with Pinnacle Clay and Pinnacle Clay Lube

Interior wiped down with Woolite 6:1

All leather dressed with Pinnacle Leather Conditioner

All interior wood grain polished with Klasse AIO

Polish via Makita 9227 and Sonus white pad with Menzerna 106ff

Spot polish with 4 inch CCS pad

Wheels cleaned with P21s

Tire cleaned with EO Tire Cleaner and dressed with Megs Hot Shine

Engine cleaned with P21S Total Auto Wash

Engine dressed via CD2 and Sonus Total Eclipse

LSP=Pinnacle Souveran

Exterior lenses and headlights polished with 106ff and Megs Plastix

Exhaust polished with Wolfgang Alum Polish

Glass cleaned with Zep Glass Cleaner

Nice Job on an awesome car!! It's amazing how fast something that weighs over 5k lbs can be! Great car to drive...

Pat, where did you get the plate covers made? Seems like an excellent idea, bet it saves you alot of time from editing out plates and looks very professional!

Barbed wire license plate frame on a Bentley... :aww:

Other than that it's looking great! I'm wondering what's under the cover as well.

How was the clear? I've heard of some late model Bentleys having stupid-soft clear...

The clear was fair. 106ff cleared up most of the marring without any issues except the stupid dusting. I checked the car in full sun and didn't see any holograms so it wasn't as soft as some say.

I will say that the biggest PITA was cleaning the front grille on that thing...

I been waiting for this one and it's just stunning like always Pat! Looks awesome my friend! :2thumbs:

Excellent as always, Pat. :)

The Speed version is even cooler but the wheels are a major PITA to clean. I like the wheels on this one a lot more from a detailer's standpoint. ;)

I guess your Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur didnt get there in time? Looks good though!

What do your neighbors say when they see a bentley in your driveway? hahaha

Awsome machine, I live near the factory and used to work there when it was Rolls Royce owned. Even though it is owned by Volkswagen that is one hell of a piece of machinery.

We are lucky as we see them all the time being tested near Crewe, the sound they make being booted is fantastic.

Would love to get my hand on one to detail, but they seem to leave the factory in good condition.
