2007 Acura TL Type-S

I just brought home my new 07 TL Type-S the other day...these cars are insane!

I told the dealer that I didn't want their prep department cleaning (scratching) my new ride prior to delivery, so they sent me home with all of the plastic still on it.

I only had about 4 hours to work on it before it go too dark, and I had to go out of town the next day...I was at least able to get the basics taken care of.

Please excuse the quality of the "after" photos. The only time I could snap them was high noon, and the PQ suffered accordingly.

I washed it with Zaino Z7, AIO with PC and grey pad, SG by hand.

Very nice. Must be nice to start from a clean slate. I wish I had known about this site 6 years ago (if it even existed back then).

BTW, how do you have your license plates already?

Looks really nice from what I can see, hopefully you can get some more pics with better lighting this week and post them. :)

How do you like it so far? Looks great with those twin tips on each side.

If the Midwest weather cooperates this week, I'll be able to get some more (better) shots.

How do I like it? The car is unbelievable! It's got all of the handling, braking, acceleration, comfort, and luxuries that I could possibly want. Stepping up to the Type-S was definitely a good move.

They were able to transfer the tags from my trade-in (RSX Type-S) to the TL-S.

My neighbor had an 05 Nighthawk Black TL and it was a very nice car. The Type-S looks EVEN better. I think it's one of the best values out there. Tons of equipment, technology, good looks, great quality, etc.... The ONLY thing that I don't like about the TL is that it's FWD, but after driving one, that can be overlooked. Good luck with your new car, and please keep posting up the eye candy.

wow, congrats on the new ride :woot2: ! i'm surprised they let you take it home without inspecting if there was any damage under the plastic before releasing it...

Thanks! I've gotten to know everybody at the dealership very well, so I'm sure that helped.

Man, I drool all over that car. I seen on parked front of my office, it was a white color one :) I love those dual tips exhuast pipe and the rims(Enkei??) too it look pretty cool too.

The TL has always been one of my favorite sedans.

They are indeed fantastic cars. My wife's DD is a 98 3.2 TL and they are damn near bullet proof in reliability. For those of you who haven't driven one, give it a shot sometime. I think you'll be pleasently surprised.....

That new TL type S looks great....!

Nice job on taking delivery with no dealer prep. Great looking with the Klasse twins on that black. Have you thought about getting paint film on the front, that way no rock chips.
