2006 Dodge Viper Automotive Detail by Barry Theal of Presidential Details of Lancaster Pa

Hey, I'm late to this party! Hi ya, Barry...decided to not let your employees have all the fun, huh? Bet you could hardly resist the urge to wetsand that thing ;)

Of course it came out great...no suprise there.

You really like the Rupes units, huh?

Hey, whose two-inch DA is that, and what pads to you use on it? I kinda like that little thing...

Accumulater,

Didn't think you would check out a Dodge Viper thread. :) Not really a car for you. LOL I see still detail occasionally. That 2jnch pneumatic DA is from harbour freight and one bad ass little tool. You need one of these for sure. Pads are from the Buff Daddy colection.Call Kevin and he will get you setup. I hope all is well with you and the misses. How are your kids dojng? ( The Dogs)

I've followed your work for some time. It's great to see you back here making that Viper a show car and with a new product line to boot.

Barry Theal- yeah, I only checked out that [exotic car] because *you* did it ;)

Harbor freight, huh...I oughta check that out. Might be just different enough from my 3" to be worth having. And yeah, BuffDaddy/Kevin is good people, he and I go back a ways.

Everything's good here, dogs are fine too (today is Magnus' 8th bday). I'll call when I have some time..you and I always get to BSing and end up spending a hour on the phone!

Man, that looks very beautiful! The owner must be really happy. May I ask why you didn't put a coating on underneath the wax? And when did you start shooting RAW?

Bravo sir. Outstanding write up on one of the greatest looking cars ever. I found your comment on carpet lines interesting as I've never understood the appeal to them at all.

Thomas,

Thank you Sir. The customer just wanted a wax. Coatings are nice, but like him, I also prefer the look at a nice Carnuba. ;) I know how to use a camera. I wasn't feeling lazy with this one. Being that I don't detail much, this detail was more for the pleasure than the money.

Jsmooth, Thanks man. LOL at your comment about riding a bike. I'm assuming you mean. You never forget. Funny storing most don't know about me. When I was younger I use to be on a professional roller skating team. I was actually a talented figure skater and speed skater. :) Those close to me always say. Kinda like roller skating, you never forget.

I just made a comment on a thread I started in regards to before and after pictures and how I'm still working on doing a better job with that aspect of detailing. I personally feel it's challenging. This thread is awesome. Great work and a great write up. I love seeing the final product! Nice job.
