This was a 2006 Chevy Impala LTZ that was brought to me for some care. This is the first car I've been able to use Sonax perfect finish, and so far it is AMAZING! Great work time, very little product goes a long way and the finish it leaves is awesome.

Thanks for looking, any questions let me know!

It's in dire need of some PDR, also the owner had a issue with the tint and I believe he will have it re-tinted soon.

Nice work! Lots of clarity brought back, paint looks wet. Didn't know Flexzilla made water hoses now?

Great review. This product looks impressive. Can anyone comment on how SPF compares to Menzerna final polishes?

I've been using it for about a month now, It has a bit of a learning curve to it. Too much product and it will gum up the pads VERY quickly resulting in quite a bit of dust for a finishing polish. I guess price could be a negative too but it's not THAT expensive once you realize how little you actually need to use.

I generally use M205 for finishing harder paints and PO85RD (or whatever they call it these days 4500?) for softer stuff, but with the Sonax I have yet to find a situation where I'd grab for the other two any longer.

Really my biggest complaint is needing 4+ fresh pads to finish a car due to pads gumming up. It leaves behind a great gloss even on soft paint, it's very easy to clean up unlike the Menzerna products that can be finiky based on humidity.

It does gum up the pads pretty fast compared to other polishes, which is the only negative thing I can say about it so far. Other than that it's been great on the few cars I've used it on.

How are you guys cleaning up pads? I clean all my pads with Dawn Power Clean and it just eats product off, with the exception of RD and BFWD. I will not take out these. Are you guys using foam or MF pads?

Throw them in the washer with dawn / vinegar. I keep probably 25 pads in rotation at any time, it's not like I have to stop in the middle of a car to clean pads or anything because of this polish, just requires them to be washed overall more frequently.

Haven't used the sonax with MF pads, just for finishing with foam
