I worked on my own MINI this past weekend! I have been too busy lately to care for it like I should, but finally set aside a time to work on it!

Process was:

Wash with Gold Class

Clay with Final Inspection and Griots Clay

Spot polish with Meguiars #83 #8006 on Speed 5 on G100 PC

Polish with Meguiars #80 #8006 on Speed 5 on G100 PC

Show car Glaze #7 (Meguiars)

A couple coats of #21 (Meguiars)

A couple coats of NXT Tech Wax

A Coat of P21S Pure Carnauba Paste Wax just because I like applying paste wax...

And of course, the images:

skitelluride531,

I just looked at your website. Between the pictures in this thread, the gallery on your website, and what you include in your detail packages, I think you should charge more. You do some amazing work and to me it seems like you're prices are kind of low. I don't know how the detailing market is around you, but I just thought I'd throw that out there. I hope you take it as a compliment and not a knock on your business.

Great work! :bigups

heads up, nxt has some cleaning abilities, so it weakens that 21, for future reference maybe go straight from 21 to the nuba.

Very nice glassy Cooper there....the wheels are the best I've seen on those. At quick glance it looks very deep dish. :2thumbs:

I agree - also 2 things

first - the red mini has an unfinished wheel well. I'd remove that picture.

second - what did you use on the porsche? That is the wettest paint I have ever seen.

Thanks so much for all your comments guys! I really appreciate them!!

Thanks ! The detailing market in Austin is kind of strange. I am actually in the process of updating my site (including an intereactive gallery). I think I am going to restructure the pricing, as well as the detail packaging. I will besure to update the thread to get some comments from you guys when I am all done!

I actually put the #21 on after the NXT Carnauba. However, that information is good to know! Thanks!

Hey! Thanks for the comments!

About the porsche, I did that one a fairly long time ago, but if I remember correctly, it was polished with Meguiars #80 and then followed with #7 Showcarglaze. The LSP was likely NXT or maybe #21.

Wow! I've never, ever seen an all black Mini before. It may be small but it's the first Mini I've ever seen that looked "bad"! That is bad=cool. Nice work BTW.
