Worked on my buddy's AMG last Friday. I lent him my GTI for the day while he left the Benz with me. Needless to say he was overwhelmed by the boost in the Vdubb vs. his supercharged V8...LOL

Anyway, I got the car thursday night and went right to the interior with a carpet scrub on the mats, woolite on the leather, 303 on the dash, door panels etc then a little Meg's dressing as he prefers a little gloss but not too much. I conditioned the leather with some OTC lexol which actually softened up the otherwise firm surfaces of the 2 tone black and blue seats.

The next morning I started on the wheels with a 30 minute soak in P21S gel, Simple Green in the tight wheel wells and an assmnt of brushes. Next I washed with the ol 2 bucket using DG 901, dried with a leaf blower and Cobra WW. Pulled her into the garage for claying using Meg's QD. I polished with Menzerna 2 step. the glass, including the full glass roof got Optimum Poli-seal, followed by Optimum QD made from ONR, then Stoners inside and out. 2 coats of Optimum Opti-seal, and 1 coat of the new Optimum spray wax. Oh yeah, and 2 coats of Opti-seal for the wheels.

Very nice :woot:

Optimum does make some solid products whats your take on it.

1st thing for Optimum in all fairness is ease of use. I can't claim in my experience that their stuff is 'best in class' but they sure make products that are user friendly, environment friendly, compliment each other, and so far, seem to be worth every penny. ONR and Opti-seal are 2 products that everyone should try at some point.

:goodjob

Nice

Love that color, everytime I see one its either black or silver. This is much nicer and rare.
