2005 Dodge Viper Hennessey 750 R Detail Pics...

0 - 100 in 4 seconds? Makes no sense given 2.5 seconds to 60.

0 - 60 in 2.5 seconds = 24 mph acceleration each second.

0 - 100 in 4 seconds = 25 mph acceleration each second.

So the car accelerates faster 60 - 100 than it does from 0 - 60? Unpropable [sic]. Prove me wrong?

With 750hp and probably lots of torque on tap, traction is definitely a problem even with those huge 345s. Plus squeezing that much naturally aspirated power from an engine pushes the powerband higher in the RPM range. That's why big block drag cars sound so rough at low idle and so much smoother (albeit louder :) ) at higher RPM. It probably doesn't grab until early-mid 3rd gear.

Man, would I love to get a ride in a car that pulls the skin tight against my face.

Very true. I'd imagine that traction would still be an issue (though much less) at highway speeds ... I'd love to watch that car do a burn-out at 60 mph.

first henessey ive seen on the newer gens.. never heard of the 750 either. cool

ive heard of the 650r 800TT, and 1000TT though

this has got to be the ugliest decal ive ever seen though

Outstanding. There are only a few standard Vipers in Australia and I don't think there would be any of those 750 Rs.

I can believe the faster acceleration once the car is rolling. It is a heavy beast and just getting it launched would take a bit and, as previously mentioned, the issue of traction.

That's what I thought.

Shouldn't Hennessey have a special signature to use instead of stick-ons from a stencil kit?

the owner probably went to staples and brought a stick-on stencil set and did it himself! so tacky!

Well if the Hennessy upgrade cost him about half the price of the Viper, then that's probably the best Hennessy badge he could afford with the money left over. :D

My boss paid for the car and upgrade in cash. He's not too crazy about the badge not being completely straight either, but you can't notice it when you are standing up straight looking down at it. I believe it's only noticable to the Autopian-eye of perfection.

But thanks everyone for your nice comments. I will post up more pics when I do his SL55 and S281. :D

My boss called me yesterday to inform me that he took Best of Show at the Ferrari show this past Sunday. He told me a lot of people were asking what he uses and he just gave them my number.

So, hopefully these people will call me and I will be doing more exotics!
