I recently got a 2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V.
2000 miles on it with the custom swirlmarks from the dealer
. Well to make a long story short I plan on taking out the swirl marks with a PC but don't own one yet. My mother said she would buy one for me because she wants me to be happy with the new car, and plus I also mentioned it would help me detail her 3.0 Z3
. Anyway I think im gonna get the Sonus PC kit because I still need to do the math but it comes with some pads and the backing pad.
My question is that those pads are so expensive do they hold up a long time? My friend uses LC pads I think he said and he said that just to make sure I use to blue painters tape to tape up the black trim to make sure I don't get black on my pads.
The swirl marks look very light but they are everywhere. I will try #9, and then maybe #81 or something with the polishing pad which i think should do it.
What does everyone think? Will try to get a pic of the sentra soon. Just want to know about the PC right now.
