Owner recently picked up this '04 C320 for his daughter who will be driving soon. His main interest was safety and apparently the C class does very well in crash tests and his daughter doesn't like Volvo styling.
He wasn't that happy with the dealer's version of clean, plus there was over spray on both doors on the passenger side and rotary holograms in the hood. But it was in significantly better shape than the C class we did in Phoenix.
Hard to pick up swirls on silver...they were much worse than they look in the pictures

After using Optimum Hyper Compound with an Optimum MF cutting pad and my Rupes 21 DA polisher, center of the hood was the worst part, took two full polishing passes with OHC and the Rupes using moderate pressure...and it was CeramiClear paint. Pretty sure it would have taken Meguiars #105 with 5" Meguiars cutting pads and more pressure and more time with a conventional DA and the finish wouldn't have looked nearly as good.

ONR Wash, Opti-Raser Pink to clay, Clay Magic Purple (aggressive!) on the over spray
Optimum Hyper Compound and MF cutting pad with my Rupes 21 on the hood to remove rotary holograms
Optimum Hyper Polish and MF cutting pad with the Rupes 21
Optimum Opti-Seal
Armor All on tires/wheel wells
ONR wash and wax @ 32:1 to clean glass
Had an audience most of the time I was working, they seemed really impressed by ONR and how fast it was, especially since their neighbor across the alley started to wash his SUV (newish Trailblazer) when we started on the detail and finished detailing an entire car not long after their neighbor finished his SUV. They asked a lot of questions (they have 4 Mustangs and an SRT8 Challenger) about detailing in general but once I got out the buffer, they let me work. All too often, someone wants to strike up a conversation the instant I get out my buffer.
Again, regarding the Rupes 21, the finish it leaves is just incredible!
