2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe in black

I saw a posting in the regional section of this forum asking for someone to detail their G35. Being closeby, I responded, saying I'm not a pro but I'd be willing to do it for free, just because I do enjoy the occasional challenge of a thorough detail. So yesterday he dropped it off and I went to work.

Overall, the paint ended up being in pretty good condition. There were a few spots here and there that proved a bit too stubborn considering the time/equipment I had, but overall the car polished up nicely.

I think he was happy when he picked it up. And although I did this for free, I was very appreciative of the generous tip. :)

Process:

Interior:

Vacuum

Wash floor mats

Spot clean interior carpet

303 plastic/vinyl

Pinnacle leather cleaner followed by conditioner

IG on glass

Exterior:

4* gel wheel cleaner (love this stuff!)

Wash

Clay

SSR 2.5 via PC w/yellow SFX pad

SSR 1 via PC w/white SFX pad

EX-P

Pinnacle Souveran

The interior was already in pretty good shape, so I didn't photo any afters of it. Also, this was the first time using Souveran. I now know why it's highly praised. Very nice stuff.

WOW!!! That is an awesome car. Very very wet look to it. Great detail. Why someone would treat their car like that and let it get that dirty is beyond me

very nice job on that one........ :hifive: :hifive:

SOmetimes you cant help it.... where i work we have a stone parking lot and drive and there are 15 dumptrucks that go in and out. i can wash my truck and in one day it can look that bad or worse... maybe the owner of the car has some sort of simular situation .... i do at least hose mine off when the dust gets out of hand on it
