Local member of the S2000 community in Chicago-land. Car has about 10,000 miles on it and is not a daily driver. Was well taken care of, overall. Some car wash marring and swirls were about the only issues.
Process went something like this:
Wash with Meguiars NXT
Clean tires, rims and wells with Simple Green and Meguiars APC cut 3:1
Clean top with Aerospace 303
Remove tar with Autoglym tar remover -- great stuff!
Dry with waffle weave and microfiber in the door jams, etc.
Clay entire car -- Mothers clay and Zaino clay. Used Z6 and Meguiars as lube.
All done with PC:
Poorboys SSR2 and an orange pad x1
Poorboys SSR1 and a Sonus Swirlbuster pad x1
Zaino Z5 by hand x1
Poorboys EX and a blue pad x1
Wipe down with Zaino Z8
Dressed tires with Meguiars extreme shine.
Dressed wells with Meguiars shine cut 2:1
Cleaned interior with Meguiars APC cut 3:1
Dressed leather with Meguiars leather protectant
Polished exhaust tips with Mothers cleaner/wax.
This is the second yellow S2K that I have done -- yellow metallic flake really pops!
