i do all my details by hand, customers fall in love when they here it! eliminates alot of stress of leaving marks caused by improper use of a buffer.

That's one helluva hand job! Looks nice and the front wheel pic really shows the paint gloss well. Nice job. How long did you spend on it?

It looks like the SS vehicle that chases the President's limo!

I'd love to have a black excursion diesel like that one. Those wheels are awsome.

I'm curious as to why you say NXT and #26 is best combo for black, I would have never thought that would have worked well.

Nice work. I can't imagine the effort that a black Excursion would require. It would be a gorgeous truck without those rims btw.

Nice job, but going by hand means no swirl removal aside from some filling (megs products are the most filler heavy I have ever used). Using a rotary wrong can leave marks, but going by PC or UDM is really idiot proof.

If Meg's is the heaviest filling products you have used, you haven't used many.. The only filling wax listed was NXT, and even then, its so/so at filling..

Truck looks very nice, any pictures in direct sunlight?

Man your a better man than I .I would not even think about doing that big of a vehicle by hand.Looks great though. Do your self a favor and get a PC/UDM at least if you are afraid of buffer marks from a rotary.Your end results will amaze you.Your hands can never acheive the same results as a machine.

Ron 231- just because he doesn't use a machine doesn't mean he can't remove scratches or swirls. Considering the products he used on this job he didn't remove many, but using the right products you could create a completely scratch and swirl free finish by hand. Hell, I can remove 2k grit wetsand marks by hand down to a swirl free finish. Just food for thought.

By the way 97blackSS that truck looks awesome.
