Hey guys I dont do many C&B's but this one definately deserves it.

I took in this 2004 Maxima SE with swirls, marks and scratches all over the body.

I dont have before pics though sorry!!

I had some stuff sitting that I wanted to try for a while but since the Polish (Automagic XP) was about 4 years old I was always scared. I shook the gallon real well for a few minutes and then checked out the consistency and texture of the polish, all checked out well. I guess the fact it was stored always in a dry place with controlled temp helped. For LSP I chose something that my Carbrite Distributor *highly recommended* (and gave me for free to try) it is a carnauba based aerosol wax call TROPICAL GLOSS. He says a little goes a long way, I applied it with a PC and a white pad at a speed of 3.5. While searching for a QD to finish off the job I wondered how Z8 would work on a carnauba application!! WOWSERS!! :shocked :xyxthumbs It did the EXACT same thing it does on Z5p or Z2p.......

This was my process.

1. Wash with Turtle Wax Platinum

2. Clay with Zaino Clay using a spray bottle with TW plat. soap and water for lube.

3. Polished vehicle with a LC Orange Pad and Automagic XP polish at speed 6

4. Polished with LC white pad uside automagic XP polish at speed 6

5. Waxed with Carbrites Tropical Gloss via PC at speed 3-4

6. Topped with Zaino Z8 Grand finale

I hope you enjoy my work.... here are the after pics..

Wow, all that with the one polish? Cool stuff, looks great. There is a local auto magic dealer in the city where I go to school, never could get there when they were open though. A buddy of mine just picked up an '03, depending on how good I get with the PC I might offer him a polish. Really nice cars though, nice shop too.
