I have the same car in the same color, it's dark blue, right? I have been going to to a paint correction on mine. I did start on rear driver fender and didn't have much luck with the combination I was using. Did you find the paint was hard? I'm not an experienced detailer, just a novice. However, I do have a flex 3401 VRG.

In general, I find ford paint to be med to hard. D151 did a great job of knocking swirls and scratches. On most of the Ford paint corrections I have done I like Megs MF cutting with D300 and M105 if I need extra cut.
 
You took that one over the top, the paint looks outstanding and the motor great (as well as the rest of the detail)!
