took 7 hours cause there was enough dog hair to make another large size dog out of it. I dont knwo waht the stain was it was somehting red you can still kind of see it but its not that bad. used poorboys clay and then s100 it came out soo nice i was really happy with it. i love working on Mercedes benz paint cause i just love the feel when you done. i dont knwo why the detail took so long probably cause i was just enjoying my self and having a good time. later please check my other post http://www.detailcity.com/showthread.php?t=8022&highlight=trike i need help
 
i have a carpet extractor and i jsut put the carpet shampoo in it and spray it on scru it around and sucks it out but a wet vac would have done just as good of a job.

How do you get the "lines" in the carpeting? I'd like to try the same thing as it has a real professional look to it.

If I may...

Using the nozzle on the extractor or the flat attachment of your shop vac, PULL the nozzle in one direction along the mat or carpet, and then PUSH the nozzle in the other direction next to the line you just did, keeping an nice even pattern and you will acheive that professional look with the lines!
 
How do you do the carpets in the car...spin the car....hehehehehehe

Either way will work though, and it looks great!

Thanks for the advice! I will be sure to try it this weekend.
