Hi guys...This weekend I'm going to do my sis-in-law's new (to her) white 02 Civic. Havent seen it yet, but I suspect the usual swirls and what-not to the paint. Here's my outside process, let me know what you think:

1 - Powerwash

2 - Wipedown with 50/50 Alcohol/Water mix

3 - Clay (I'm guessing a lot of work for a white car)

4 - Wash again, dry.

5 - Sonus SFX 1 or 2 depending on swirl amount using Sonus DAS Orange pad

6 - Klasse AIO, one coat using Sonus DAS Blue pad

7 - Klasse SG, one or two coats, using the WOWO method

8 - S100, one coat using LC grey pad

Any critices or shortcut ideas would be greatly appricated...

Sounds good to me. You may have to add something in between SFX and AIO *if* you use SFX-1, since it can haze - but otherwise looks great. Have fun!

I havent actually used SFX-1 yet, so i'm a bit timid on it. But, if I do decide to use 1, I should probably just follow that up with 2 correct?

That's right. SFX-1 with a cutting pad will probably cause some hazing, but SFX-2 should clear that right up. I'd definitely try to get the swirls out with SFX-2 first, it does a good job on minor-moderate swirling/marrring. SFX-1 is some heavy duty stuff.
