2001 Super Protectant from Turtle Wax

I use it...it was a bit cheaper compares to Armor All so I bought it. It works well, but a little bit "thin" in my opinion so I have to use it probably twice as much to get the same result from AA. The nice thing about it that it's not greasy or glossy, so it leaves the vinyl "moisturized" without making it all shiny. I've heard good things about the NXT protectant spray so when I run out of this bottle I will try that.

I have some, if you like high gloss it is not bad. I got mine at big lots.

I would not use it on the interior, but for tires I like it. I use it when I want a different look. No sling, cheap, decent durability, not bad IMO.

Thanks for the responses. NXT4now, I hear that Armoral wipes tend to crack vinyl. Do you use the wipes or liquid stuff?

HOWS THAT ?IF I COULD FIND NU FINISH I WOULD BUY IT ALL AND HAVE CONTROL OF THE WORLDS SUPPLY OF THIS AMAZING PRODUCT..THERE WOULD BE NO STOPPING ME:bigscream :bigscream :phone: :phone: :phone: :phone: :naughty

You are welcome Tom. I use the spray. The thing about AA cracking vinyl dash is mostly false. I used AA for 16 years on my old VW and the dash is as good as new. AA also claimed they have reformualted their protectant to prevent such thing from happening.

Where are you located? Big Lots in my neighborhood is having the TW 2001 protectant on sale for 99 cents this week.

I'm in a surburb of Philadelphia...Big Lots? I'm not familiar. But anyway, I've been hearing bad things about the various 'wipes' they sell. Good to hear the spray is fine.

NXT4now.......I have heard those "rumors" about Armour All for years....but..what I heard was that it didnt affect (crack) unless your stopped using it. Something to do with the plastisides (?) in the dash and also read on a message board some reports from tire manufacturers that using Armour All voided the tire warranty.....Just what I heard.......the stuff looks great on wheel wells though......Saw the Turtle Wax protectant at Big Lots for a buck.

3Dog...I imagine if you stop "moisturizing" the vinyl, or never protect it from the first place, it will crack...Anyway, no matter what, some protectant is needed because the dash takes so much abuse from the heat, UV, and vibrations.
