Dino: Agreed. We need to meet up :).

Yes we do!! One day, you'll have to take my car so you can see and feel what these new 997 C2S's are like.:woot2: Besides, like yourself, I'm so busy now I have little time to take out all the tools and work on correcting all the defects I now have. Damn this paint is soft!! Life sucks when you can't find the time to play with your toys...

I've yet to even get the new ZAIO and Z CS products. If I did, for now they'd sit on the same shelves as the rest of my gear and polishes etc.

At least I drive the car as often as possible. I have over 11K miles on it. Only one problem is every rice'd out car thinks they can ourun, out handle a Porsche C2S. I guess it's the movies and video games they try to emulate. Sadly, someone innocent will get hurt while they try. One fool/tool ended up slamming into another car on I-95 because he was trying to catch-up with me, then attempted to pass several cars on the right I guess to show me how great/better his car is than some Porsche only to rear end someones car in traffic ahead. I mean he really hit this car hard due to speed and lack of good brakes. Then you get the ones riding my rear closely. If I'm on the highway or at a stop light, there's always some tool that has to get so damn close he may as well be in my back seat.

Sean, anytime you want to work on my car you're more than welcome!

One of these days we'll get together so I can give you the P085RD stash and others I have for you. :grinno:

I just can't get over how that Guards Red just looks. So damn wet and deep looking.

Regards,

Deanski

Andy: That's where it all pays off; thanks for the heads up. You must post pics of yours once done...if I remember correctly, it's the exact same thing in 2wd coupe, right?

No problems, you're correct that my car is basically the same visually except it's a coupe and uh...WAY lower now that I've got better suspension under it.

Andy

No signs of rust with your detailing skills; you picked up right where you left off.

The interior, paint, wheels, trim, ** Everything ** looks meticulously detailed.

I'm sure the owner was very impressed with the results.:2thumbs:

Thanks all.

Scott: Yes'ir. I spent about 35 mins total on the wheel/arch areas. Those little hex nuts love to hold the dust.

how did i miss this . . . . what a wonderful looking detail man . . . could hardly expect any less from you though . . .

BTW - u gave me some advice on my nissan frontier's paint a while back - before u got your new job . . . thanks a bunch man. your advice saved me hours of agony.

the paint on that porsche looks like its alive . . .

Absolutely gorgeous.

Please tell me that you didn't accomplish this amazing job doing it in the direct sunlight...?

Thanks again!

JL6er: I worked in the shade to do the interior and to wash/clay the exterior. I then pulled it in the client's garage to do the compounding, polishing, pulled it back out to check my work; back in to finish 'er up. I'm not sure how I've worked in direct sunlight in the past; it's such a pain.
