Hi Guys, I have been using the ultima system, and after a few months, I have decided to put some P21S carnumba wax on my 2000 Silverado after the PGP starts to wear off. It is a metallic grey, and I've been trying everyting I can to ge it to "POP". Don't get me wrong, it looks ok, but just trying for the best look I can. It looks rather dull overall. I realize a sealant is different than a wax. Just trying to figure out what works best for me.

If it looks dull then it needs a polishing. Clay if you haven't done that already.

Thanks, I have polished it before with Clay, SFX-1, SFX-2 Klasse AIO and P21S with my PC 7424 (newbie). i switched to Ultima, and did the elastrofoam, paint prep and Paint guard. Thanks for the spelling correction w/ Carnuba...I fat fingered the spelling (stupid Molson), sorry! I have removed all swirls, and the surface is really smooth, I just think it looks dull. Maybe I'm expecting too much. I got the truck w/92k miles and now it has 110K. It looks much better than before. I've even tried up to 8 layers of Ultima PGP on the hood this spring, but no luck. Thanks again for all the help!

Well, if it only has very light marring, I would try something like Menzerna FPII on a polishing pad on the PC, work it in very well. This should definitely amp up the gloss. Then PPP and PGP.
Some paints just aren't going to look as good as others, even when fully detailed.

I've experimented with different LSP's on this color, and my personal preference is to go with a good sealant and leave the wax on the shelf. The metallic really pops this way, even though you miss out on some of the gloss and reflection from a carnauba.
This may be a dumb question, but what you're describing makes me want to ask - any chance you're leaving PGP product residue behind? I'm not familiar with it, but I'm wondering if maybe you're using too much and/or not allowing enough setup time prior to removing it?
I would think the products youv'e already tried would have addressed any light marring, but the metallic will certainly hide some light swirls while simultaneously preventing the pop you're after. How does the finish look under halogens or bright direct sunlight? Are you seeing any marring?
FWIW, I generally use Four Star UPP on this finish, although I detailed a carbon grey metallic Yukon recently and used Wolfgang DGPS, and I loved the results - it had the pop but also a very nice, deep gloss (hence the name, I guess
