Hello Autopia,
After a year the Klasse/Blitz on this BMW was still holding up (think May 2002.) I think even a carnauba would hold up. Rarely sees rain, weekend warrior, and always garaged and covered.
Fastfoward to August 14, 2003, washed and dried/clayed, and armed with a PC and foam polishing pad and a light cut swirl mark remover (very mild) I begin to polish the surface. The resulting finish had a lot of sparkle and pop to it, not like Klasse with a bright shine, but different. I then washed the car with dawn. I applied 3 coats of Zaino Z-2 with ZFX. Z-6 in between each coat and once over after the 3rd coat.
Vac'd out the interior srcubbed down the rubber BMW mats with a Valugard Omni All purpose and soaked in Lexol Vinylex. Let semi-dray, and then buffed down to a semi gloss finish. Dusted and Vinylex'd the interior and seats (Leatherette, leather like vinyl.)
Too tired to remember to take a picture of the engine. All it needed was a through wipe down and three or so cheapo MF's got trashed.
