There is no cure!
so after 24 divided hours of polishing the last couple weeks (megs #83/80 combo)and then finshing it off by detailing it apparently the coat of sg followed by ex didnt bond quite well. neither did. apparently it had something to do with the #80 leaving behind oils, therefor screwin with klasse sg.

so this week i decided to do it all again this time without the sg and using ssr1

along with the swirl/scratch removal (98% of all surface defects gone may i add) that was done prior

the process

wash

clay (it didnt need it but wanted to start off fresh)

ssr1

simple green on tires/plastic/trim/wheel wells/wheels

ex 2x's

clay/invisible glass/aio on all exterior glass surfaces

trim shine on all trim

no touch tire dressing on the wheel wells

BnB on tires

now if u remember last time i detailed it the finish came out crisp clear showing all the flakes but lacked tons of depth and warmth
heres a pic:

and incase u didnt notice there was some tint work done from the previous time. do to many many many citations both from street cams and patrol officers here in miami i had to remove my 2% limo layers i had on all windows. this time i went a lot lighter and put 15% on the windows. 28% is the limit but everyone in miami drives with 15-20% and get no hassle. i guess only if u're completely blacked out is when they stop you. other than that they dont give no problems.

for metallix I like EX-P - Just tried it on my anthercite Grey Metallic Tl - an man! sparkle city!!

Did a run wiht ssr2.5 then straight to EX-P

yea but thats more of a light color car. i liek the way the metallic pops in my green paint but since its dark it lacks a lot of depth. thats why i tried the ex... and incase i havent mentioned. i love it.

my vote goes to EX...looks deeper, darker and looks more classy.

i'm no fan of that plasticy acrylic look of poly's!

that little bit of nuba in the EX does the trick!!
