2 Details opinions needed please

OK this weekend and next week, I am to do 2 details for 2 different cars, the first is a Vauxhall Vectra, mettalic black, lots of commuting miles each day. Not too bad with swirl marks, perhaps a few, very dirty at the moment, hardly ever washed.



The second a RAV4 mettalic turqoise in colour, a daily driver, not so many miles comuting, washed every two weeks by the owner (sponge and bucket !)



Products available,



BMW Paint Cleaner, Polish, Wax

Menzerna FPII IP

#80 and #83

z1 Extra Paint Cleaner, z1 Mettalic Polish

Carlack (AIO)

Z2 (Zfx)

P21s



PC, pads including WHITE BLACK AND RED CPF type and SONUS pads Orange Blue and Green



I would appreciate your input into which products you may have a preference for with each car, and which pads you might use etc. Many thanks for taking the time to offer your opinion and experience. :xyxthumbs
 
p21s cleanser or wax? If you have the p21s cleanser I'd go p21s cleanser then z2 on both cars. If you have p21s wax, I'd go AIO then Z2 on both cars. If your Z2 is non-pro I'd put the p21s as a topper. The new z2 needs nada, zelch, zip for a topper.

Where is your clay?

Are you getting paid? If so are you getting more to polish? Offer up more info. Only polish if your familar with it, clay then sealant will really make a nice smooth job.
 
Wash and clay both cars to start off, then it really depends on how much money/time you're being given as to what I'd do next.



Do you have any other products?



The reason I ask, is because if you're doing a two-step, then Megs NXT works really well on top of #80... this would be a good combo for both the cars.



If you're doing a one-step, then go with the Clarlack or 1Z MP.
 
OK thanks for the replies, I forgot to mention the clay, yes I will clay I consider that so important that I believe it goes without saying, sorry.



P21s Wax BurlyQ, not being paid, I am very familiar with polishing what I am interested in is which products work best together on the colours and makes of the cars paints from the products I have available.

I have not had much success on my black car with Zaino, however when I used zaino on my wife's car, it came up looking really good. I might consider your suggestion of AIO Z2 P21s on the black vectra

I think I will go with your suggestion of using the megs product on the RAV4, I do have megs NXT tech wax, never been that impressed with it, do you think it would be better than P21s for example. And should I use #83 before #80 or AIO before #80 perhaps, or go straight with #80 after wash and clay ?
