2 Detailed Porche Racers

Goof off is indeed a solvent dubbed "the ultimate remover". Safe on all paints and clearcoats just like terpentine. I buy it by the gallon at home depot. I live by goof off, inexpensive too. I use it on just about every car I do. Strips wax though, which is ok since most details require stripping wax. The best stuff I've ever tried on tar, spray it on and the tar melts off like hot butter. Great on tree sap too! Just let is soak for a few minutes on large sap deposits with a cotton ball. Also does a nice job removing those little orange spots, otherwise known as industrial fallout, which mostly comes from brake dust, doesn't get it all though, I use clay to get the rest, but it helps me save alot of clay by doing this step first. I also use it with clay for overspray removal. Takes off paint exchange like nothing I've ever used. Removes ink stains from leather and cloth (always test in small area, can make dyes bleed out). Removes adhesives from stickers or decals. I use it as a prep on vinyl before color dyeing. I will not remove body paint unless you scrub like a banchee in one spot for a long time, and even then hardly any comes off. It has never harmed paint on me. It's the most versitile body and paint cleaner I've ever used. BE WARNED THOUGH... DO NOT USE GOOF OFF ON PLASTIC TAIL OR HEADLIGHTS, it melts the plastic and will make them look hazy. Also dries out and makes rubber chafe, so be careful around moldings. Try it, you'll be thrilled with how easy it makes dealing with these issues.

And I said I wouldn't be long winded.
