So as my other thread stated, yesterday I began a process of deoxidizing the single stage paint on my 93 MR2.

I did 2 coats of Meguiars Diamond Cut, three where necesary. A coat of Dual Action Cleaner and Polish topped off by a coat of NXT (2nd coat to come tomorrow)

The pics here are only during the Diamond Cut stage of the detail. No pics of the DACP or NXT. Those will come tomorrow too, after the 2nd coat of NXT.

I even used the DC on the front turn signals and rear taillights

wow. isnt that meguiar's most abrasive stuff? did you use a rotary?

nm, read your other post. good work. finish up so we can see the whole car :)

mr2=awsome

I am curious what the nxt will turn out like, I have seen it darkens reds far too much.

the car looks simply amazing. I had these 2 big tree sap spots and trails on the hood near the pass side light. I worked them so that they are barely gone, but *I* can still see a slight trace of it. I tried numerous time to get a pic of it but they just don't show up.

The car is still swirled pretty badly, but it's not as bad as it was before. The paint deffianately has a depth and clarity that I couldn't acheive before, hence the Diamond Cut and Wool pad.
