2 coats of upp and getting bored!

There is no cure!
i ahve two coats of upp and i love the finish. but ifeel that adding an extra coat of it will do nothing except waste product. i was thinking of topping it with liquid souveran and probably top it agin every 2-3 weeks. do u think i could get away with that for 3 months from now and still have good protection.

That third coat will add something and actually I have found that the second and third coats use a lot less UPP than the first. Topping it may or may not add more to the look and will probably take away from the slickness?????
My favorite toppers of late are ..... are you ready ....
Adams Detail Spray or Poorboys Spray and Gloss!
I think this type of product is the next generation of toppers :)
Just my opinion of course

I agree....3x is the charm for UPP. Topped with S&G leaves a slickness and gloss that is stunning...especially if you have a metallic paint.

even souveran? :(

How do poorboy's or Adam's compare to UGE? I have a bottle of UGE and wondering if it's worth it to go with something else.

Joy - LS will cause the UPP to lose slickness and the ability to add more UPP in a couple of weeks. I would advise the use of Paste Glaz to top UPP. It's the only thing I have tried to top with that did not seem to lsoe any slickness from the original UPP feel.

EVEN SOUVERAN??? when if first used souveran it was the slickest more lickedy slippedy product i ever used. :)

Yeah. Liquid Souveran is nowhere near as slick as UPP, and by topping the UPP with it I lost a great deal of slickness. I am now contemplating giving the LS to my dad, who has a black truck (now that I have a white truck ;I didn't like the look of LS over the UPP at all).

seems upp is taking over! i really really really like it. but the idea that i like a product too much makes me think that combining it with other products will be EVEN better.

Hey, go for it. What have you got to lose? I don't necessarily think UPP is the end all product, but it is very nice. It's nice to hear other's experiences with a certain product combo, but you'll never know for sure unless you try it!! :bigups

go that third coat it will surprise you I know it did for me..Plus you only use 2 oz anyways you'll still have plenty left..

2 oz!!! I did my dads truck with about .5 oz.

I think if you are using 2 oz's you might be laying it on a little bit thick.

JMHO

Three coats of UPP seems to "max" it out. The three coats would probably hold up for three months, provided you are maintaining it correctly.

If you are looking for something to top it with, Trade Secret seems to compliment UPP very well......... especially on a color like your vehilce.

I would also use Paste Glaz if I was to top it. Seems more slick than the others. I really thought LS was really slick and made my truck look almost as good as the paste version. I personally wouldnt top it because it looks good by itself. Even on black as my truck.
