2 Coats of Nitro Seal ?

I detailed my black Mustang a week ago. I used a clay bar, HD Speed, and some Nitro Seal to finish it off. I am really happy with the way it turned out, the Nitro Seal seems to be slicker than the Zaino wax I was using before and only required me to put one coat on. But I heard Nitro Seal has a really short self life after it's opened, instead of just letting it go bad I was going to put another coat on. Will the second coat bond to the Nitro Seal already on the car (and make it look even better) ?

Nitro Seal actually doesn't have a short life span after you open it. Here's what I recommend to people after using it:

*Tighten the caps on Part A & B very securely.

*Apply a strand of tape around the cap to ensure even more of a bond to avoid air exposure

*Put both bottles in a Ziplock bag and squeeze all the air out

*Put in a cool place out of direct sunlight (fridge is ok, but make sure not to eat it)

I have bottles that are well over a year old still perfectly fine......

You could also apply another layer of product, but if things are still looking great it's not necessary really. Thanks for trying the Speed/NS combo!! And Welcome to Autopia!!!

Thanks for the feedback. I am happy with the looks, so I am going to try the tape/ziplock trick and reapply at the end of summer. I am interested to see how it does against the summer sun in Atlanta.
