2 Clay or not 2 Clay

While surfing the net I came across this site and was checking it out. If you go to the bottom of the page they tell you that clay bars are only good for like 4-5 uses depending on the vehicle. Is this true? I figured they would last longer then that. Let me know what you guys think.

that would depend on how big the bar is, how much contaminates it's removing, and if you polish before claying to remove a lot of surface dirt.

general statements are hard to put a number on...too many variables..how big was the car..is it a SUV??? too many things to take into account

If it is your average non-bulk sized bar... I usually use it once then throw it away, just to be safe. You dont want to be marring the finish by using a dirty clay bar.
