2 bucket wash system?

Ummm how does it work? I assume one bucket for the soap and the other bucket is where you dunk your wash mitt into (to get rid of any debris) and then you redunk your mitt into the soap bucket and start over again?
 
Exactly. The purpose of using a second rinse bucket is to remove debris from the wash mitt, which will help prevent scratches. You may want to change the rinse water if it gets too dirty to get a clean rinse.
 
For me it is a 3 bucket system. One for tires & wheels, One for body panels, and one for rinsing. My neighbors just look the other way when I wash my car.

Thanks for pointing that out. You definitely don't want to wash your wheels using the same buckets. I use a single bucket to wash my tires with a brush and rinse the brush with a hose. I then use 2 separate buckets to wash the rest of the car. I never use my wheel/tire bucket for cleaning the paint.
 
O.K., O.K.,.......I am looney.....

I use a 6 bucket system....

I mostly use Protect All's QEW and I use one wash bucket , one rinse for the wheels, one wash , one rinse for the upper part of the car and one wash, one rinse for the lower part of the car.

I use 3 wash mitts or 3 chenille wash pads plus a wheel brush, a tire brush,(sometimes) and another soft OXO brush for the very low body seams......:eek:

Charles if your neighbors look away, man my neighbors are phoning the men in white coats.......:shocked

Needless to say QEW is easy but not quick for me.........

You mean the second wash bucket is for the car. I always thought one bucket of soapy water for the car, and the other for clean water to get a drink!



more then 2 buckets to wash your car and your nuts, and probably wasting time.



Get a tire brush and clean the tires & rims first. Then just empty the bucket and refill and wash the car. hose off and your done.

Ahhh well it is a good system, use it.





Again, you will be amazed to see how dirty the rinse bucket is, and what possibly could have gotten in your soap bucket and on your mitt and your CAR!







Just make sure each time you REALLY wring out the mitt in the rinse bucket and let it soak for a moment or so.







3 buckets? Craaaaazy.

Yeah, my limit is 2 also. Using QEW now I'm only using one bucket. Why? Because it works for Scott. :D



I also don't see the need at all to use a separate bucket for the wheels/tires when using QEW. Because you don't use QEW like regular car shampoo, you can wash the wheels and tires last. I just remove my other mitt/applicator for QEW and put in my brushes/sponges for the wheels and tires because I'm done with using it for the upper body. Makes my life simpler. :up

With QEW, I use one for the QEW and one to rinse my wash mitt. And yes, doing the wheels last with QEW works quite well.

At least I'm down to two. :p
