2 BMW's, Audi, Mercedes, Ram, Mazda + First time Aquawax & Vapor clean machine use

This Audi was a 2 step detail and was in excellent condition to begin with.

Process:

Wash (Ardex blue carwash - very economical, sudsy, highly effective cleaning ability, and doesn't strip wax)

Clearkote VM

Collinite Insulator

Tire shine (Meg's hot shine)

Next up is a BMW 545i. This was an exterior detail. The owner is an autopian and doesn't even know it. He keeps it in immaculate condition.

Next is up is the Dodge Ram. With this truck I experienced first time usage of a vapor steamer and aquawax. With both, I am very pleased. The vapor steamer I have is an inexpensive model that I wanted to start out with to get an idea of how it works before I dropped the cash for a more expensive model. The model I have is called "Vapor Storm". I am very impressed. Around 215 degrees, 65psi, and an assortment of attachments.

The interior of the Ram was done by simply sraying a woolite/water mixture and using the steamer to clean all surfaces including carpet, etc. All surfaces were buffed off using a clean MF towel.

The exterior was pretty simple as it was in great condition. I just received some Aquawax, so I went with:

Wash (Ardex blue soap)

Clay (lower areas & bumper for grime & bugs)

NXT

Aquawax (My initial impressions with Aquawax is the ease of use, and the deep reflections)

Nice work all the way around, Avy. :)

How well does that pop-up tent handle the wind? That is my main concern about investing in one because it is very windy here except in July and August. I just want to be sure it won't blow over.

I had a few problems in the past dealing with wind. What I do is use weight plates that go on the bottom of the legs of the tent when it is a windy day. The model I have is the EZ-up 10x10, but I will be investing into a more higher quality tent as the EZ-up sierra models have a tendency to break easy and have alot of problems. These tents are great for recreational use (barbecue, flea market, etc.), but definitely not for regular commercial use. I have to double check the model Joe uses as those are much more higher quality and professional looking.

AJ, this steamer you used...I looked it up, and for the price is it like those others that you can find in Bed Bath and Beyond or does it really shoot steam/vapor rather than just spray hot water..Looks very promising - Are you happy with your investment?

How did the 845IW effect the look of NXT? I really like the look of NXT, and if the 845 left it unchanged, I may have just found my new combo.

I am very happy with this investment. Yes, it does shoot out actual vapor. The main things that were my concern before purchasing was the PSI and temperature and those two things are pretty good with this unit.

845IW gave alot more slickness and deep gloss on top of NXT. I really like this combo....especially on dark colors. :bigups
