1zpp, then Sonus Paintworks Cleanser then VM, then EX

Would this combo work well?

1Z PP

VM

Sealant (EX-P or WG)

#16 or #26 paste wax

I'd like a polish to use by hand that will get rid of slight defects. Is there something that I should use instead of or before VM in this process? I was thinking that VM would clear up any marring introduced by the PP (not sure if I'd get any though). Is VM not the best choice and something like MP would be better after PP? I was hoping the VM would be a good product to use after PP and be a good base for a sealant.

In my experience, polishes tend to be more aggressive and leave more noticeable marring when done by hand. 1Z PP is a great all around polish, but will you probably need to follow behind it with a milder polish like MP. VM is mostly a glaze with very *limited* polishing ability, so that being said, I would still use VM but only after a pass with MP. This is if you want the absolute best finish possible. If you apply PP and are happy with the finish as is, then go with VM right on top of it, but if you have some hazing left behind you will need to use MP before VM. After VM, EX-P plus #16 will provide a VERY durable finish, and will look awesome. Hope this helps.
