1ZPP enough to remove water spot etching?

I'm planning on picking up a PC here within a couple of weeks because I have a bad case of water spot etching on my black car. I tried to 1ZPP by hand, but it didn't quite do the trick to remove the etching, so since I wanted a PC anyways, I thought this would be a good time to get one.

My question is, do you think the 1ZPP will be abrasive enough to remove the etchings when used with a PC?

Have you Klasse users had good luck using the twins with a PC? I'm going to get the kit that comes with three pads: cutting, polishing, and finishing. Thanks for any advice.

Oh, P.S. Should I try vinegar first?

I just tried 1Z PP for the first time this weekend and I was very impressed with it removing swirls and minor scrathces. I would think that it would definatly remove the water spots.

I am sure one of the 1Z experts will be along here soon. But I would say yes.

Give the vinegar a try.

I imagine that PP will be sufficient with the PC and the correct pad.

I have used AIO with a white pad and it worked very nicely.

1Z PP removed water etching from my daughters SUV. Used a yellow pad speed set at 5.5. Worked over area until it disappeared. Followed up with MPP. Worked well.

It just depends on how bad/deep the etching is. The 1Z PP is certainly a good starting point. You might (probably will) need to use the cutting pad, then follow up with the polishing pad.
