1Z ProLine High Gloss Polish

I am not familiar with this product nor Menzerna (have yet to try out my Blackfire I got recently), but if you want an even better deal they have a bundle package directly from 1z Einzett USA. You get all 3 products for $50.25, or a little less than $60 after shipping:

Intensive Paste (1000 ml, 33,8 fl oz)

High Gloss Polish (1000 ml, 33,8 fl oz)

Final Finish (1000 ml, 33,8 fl oz)

1z | einszett America Store Pro-Line Polishes Bundle

I have heard that this is some good stuff. I would love to test it myself.

$50 for all bottles is a very good deal.

I saw this the other day and was interested in the IP.. I need to find another medium cut polish that I can depend on, because there are days when the menzerna SIP just refuses to work. Have never had a problem out of the PG or 106ff though.

I would be interested in the high gloss polish though if it really is similar to 106ff at half price.

Most of the 1Z line is overlooked and underrated..........The pro line is a skosh more advanced then the retail line. It does not contain any Nuba or petroleum silicones....I use the retail line quite a bit, but cant justify crackin open a Qt size bottle to test out...I dont think you would be dissapointed.....

G, how old is your Pro line MP?

Gee, I dunno...I got it back when 1Z was threatening (questionable choice of wording :o ) to quit importing it (and the Express and the WPS). So it's a few years old.

Note that my Q is primarily academic as I'm utterly satisfied with the results of the Pro-Line MP and I probably have enough to last this lifetime ;)

G, I think were on opposite side of experience here. I too enjoy the 1Z experience, but havent tried the pro line yet. It is my understanding (learning from 1Z CS) that the Pro Line MP and retail line MP are identical.

I have been so frustrated lately with polishes (exception being FS BS) I'm about ready to empty my crates and add all three pro lines. The retail lines are excellent, (unsurpassed actually) all in one type of polish- sealants. I would except 1/2 of that equation as reality when using the pro line. Remember, the Pro Line Metallic Polish is identical to the retail version.

That being said, I think are experiences are identical?

Or have I just confused any/everyone reading this.......

You lost me at hello Patrick. Hahaha. I have yet to try anything 1z, so how long can you work it? Correcting abilities, what would you say they are on par with? Oh and their glass polish, any good? Thank you.

+1. I'm going to try this product. My experience with 1Z has been terrific. Their Plastik Reiniger is the best (by a mile!) plastic cleaner on the planet.

P.S. I might say that also about your own sheepskin mitts Patrick. I need some more.

I usually buy 1z from detailers domain. I think it is an excellent line. I have not tried their polishes yet. That reason being phil has stocked me up with Sip, 106 and 85rd. Untill i am low on those i am not looking at a new polish line. Being able to buy most everything else in bulk is a huge huge plus for me.

Einszett rocks

The pro line polishes in the black bottles are not the same as the retail though I haven't used any of them yet

I was told this by the Big P at Einszett germany.

I'm hoping to get a 5 litre of the hi gloss polish soon

+2. I've never tried an 1Z product that did not seemed best-in-class.

I was sure the retail and Pro line of Metallic Polish was different.

Hi guys! Now I'm back from the Frankfurt Auto Show so I can join the discussion. The HGP is a high-quality product which produces very good results. I'm using it not only for automotive finishes but to restore CDs & DVDs.

It works reliably, with pretty good working time, so it is always a good choice.

Heh heh, we started this discussion a while ago and never really resolved it..

The Pro-line Ultra/Extra and Paint Polish *are*, as best I can tell, identical to the consumer stuff. I've compared them directly and I can't tell *any* difference. Last direct comparison was when we last discussed this; I still had both cans of each on the shelf and I went out and used them both.

The Pro-line MP and the consumer MP (now called Metallic Polish with Wax) are very different and the differences are pretty obvious when the two are compared directly. The Pro-line MP is *much* thicker, of a different color (consumer= pink, Pro-line = greenish white), has demonstrably more cut, and leaves far less wax/whatever [protection] behind. UPP, for instance *will* bond fine to the Pro-line but does so far less well to the consumer stuff (classic sealant vs. wax smearing). This comparison was with products from a few years ago, but AFAIK they haven't changed them. One of the Mikes at 1Z confirmed the preceding when I called them regarding the proposed discontinuence of some of their products (the same conversation where he said that the Metallic Polish with Wax is the same as the "old consumer level Metallic Polish").

I sent my last can of pink MP back to 1Z over quality-control issues, otherwise I'd just send you a sample of each and put this to rest.

Heh heh, crack open a can of each from inventory and you'll immediately see what I'm talking about; you can probably prove it to yourself in less time than it takes me to type this :lol I'm tellin' ya, you'll do the ol' :doh as soon as you compare for yourself.

I gotta order from you soon but I really, *really* don't need more polish.. otherwise I'd tell you to open both, compare 'em, and then send 'em to me. If I knew anybody who needed them I'd gladly pay for them for the sake of the comparison. I'm *that* certain whereof I speak ;)

And if they've changed them to where the above is no longer true I sure want to know about it!

Bence- Any comment on how the HGP might compare with the MP or something like WaxPolishSoft.

Sorry to bug you guys, with all the Pro MP and WPS I have it'll be ages before I buy anything :o

mr.ikon- Generally, you can't overwork the 1Z polishes that I've tried (Ultra/Extra, Paint Polish, both Metalli Polishes, WaxPolishSoft). It's pretty easy to tell how the abrasives break down if you use them by hand a little, but the general rule is to not worry about working them too long (unlike some other brands).
