1Z MP + NXT + #16 + more.....BMW X5 & VW Passat

First up is a BMW X5 exterior detail done today. Sorry about the pictures for the X5, I had to take them in the garage as it was about to rain. :(

Procedure:

1. Wash (NXT).....took a break from QEW.:D

2. Clay (BM)

3. Paint scuff mark removal with goo gone, QD, and clay...... (that was a nightmare!!)

4. Polish with 1Z MP

5. NXT Tech

6. #16

Second is a VW Passat. One step W & W

Procedure:

1. Wash (QEW)

2. NXT Tech

***photohost.org is still down, so please excuse the multiple post for each pic.***

good job...what were they like beforehand...

Both were not in that much of bad shape. The BMW however did have some pretty bad paint scuff marks from the guy's wife backing up into the garage. The Passat was in pretty good shape.

Nice work! The Passat looks better than the X5! and with just NXT!

I read on another thread that a few people have had problems with NXT smearing on top of 1Z MP. What's your opinion? I just used 1Z MP topped with P21S this morning on a section of my car with very good results.

Awesome product!:bow I can't believe how easy it goes on and off. It gives a very wet smooth look on top of the NXT.:up

Wait until you find out how durable it is! I've had it over #20 on a white Expidition and black Silverado SS since early February and both are beading like crazy still!

#20/#16 is a very easy combo to use. Same with NXT/#16.

:nixweiss I didn't notice any problems. I applied NXT with a foam pad with a very light layer....I believe that'll help with preventing smearing.:up
