If you like a matte finish 1Z Cockpit is fantastic.....it not only does a great job on the dash, but it cleans the nav screen and plastics. I just received it and used it for the first time today detailing my car........ I love a natural matte finish and this product definately does the job..............

Great product, and smells even better! I have CPd tons of things at my house as well, including all of my computers!

I also like it but prefer the PB Natural Look Dressing. Nothing wrong with this stuff though - have a bottle in the trunk all the time for emergency use ;)

IMO, it leaves nothing behind, but cleans excellently.

I bought a gallon of it.

I CP'd my matte vinyl coated gas heater a few weeks ago. The vinyl had never been treated other than cleaned with cleaner now and again.

After the treatment the vinyl looked completely different. The colour was darker and deeper and quite slick to the touch.

It was very evident to me that it left a good amount of protection behind.

Hope this helps.

Interesting, that's the exact opposite of my experience using CP on matte dashboards. It doesn't alter the look at all, just makes it look nice and clean. Not darker, deeper, or slick at all to the touch. This is the reason I use it, because I want my dashboards to be as matte as I can get them to cut down on reflections.

I agree, excellent product. I wouldn't compare it to megs interior. This leaves a richer look without looking greasy plus no residue left or streaks on wood/navi screens, etc...I have try it from regular dashes (all plastic) to all leather dashes and it does not compare to megs plus it seems more powerful, it also requires less rubbing on soiled surfaces...IMHO

Megs doesnt leave a greasy finish, its mostly water anways. I never had residue, then again i dont see how you can get a interior dirty if your a autopian car freak. Unless your using it on customer cars and so on that never clean there interior and make messes. Mine gets somewhat dusty and thats it. A navi screen is max 7 inches, how could it leave streaks, its not a window :)

That's right blownvert, I use it on customer cars and have experience residue specially on wood and like I said on navi screens, specially if the interior is very dirty (its probably all the dirt accumulated on the MF towel). The huge difference in between these two is that I don't have to come back and check my work if I used 1Z (not double checking for residue).
