I recieved my second 1st place trophy today at a local car show. :xyxthumbs

It was a last minute decision so I didn't really had a chance to prep my car. To make matters worse it wasn't a People's Choice Award, this was the first time I my car was actually judged by five judges. I freaked out a little when I found out about this  :p

Wouldn't you know it the only time that I didn't prep my car it was being judged

Oh well I guess I had nothing to worry about. :xyxthumbs

Last weekend I applied a coat of 1Z followed by a coat of NXT. Today I had one hour to wash and dry her and get to the show. At the show I didn't get a chance to QD her. I basically just detailed the engine, interior and yes the nose mask with NXT Tech Spray. Here are some pics.

Congrats, for only a hour your car looks amazing.

Thanks. I guess that's because I basically keep her in this condition 99% of the time. I would have really wanted to apply another coat of NXT to give the paint more luster.

People asked me if I actually drove her. They were really surprised when I told them that it was my daily driver. I guess it pays to be an Autopian. :p

Oh hell yea it does, I drive my car through some herendous muck in the national forest outside houston and my car looks amazing, every one is always wondering how I keep it so clean. I wouldnt know half the stuff I do know if it wasnt for autopia.

AMEN to that. :p

Man that looks good! My car looks the same if not better I gotta get in on some of these contests. Although, you wouldnt want to look under the hood. =(

I get so scared when even looking under there that anything will get damaged from a product.

Thanks everyone

Hopefully I can snag another one next month.

One thing that I would like to accomplish is to actually have a clean under carriage. I would love to use a mirror to show case the under carriage. One of these days I will actually do this.

DetailGirl it's an injustice to have a detailed exterior but a dirty engine bay. :p If you want to start entering shows you're gonna have to start cleaning under the hood.

GSRstilez aside from the Pop Charger and ground wires I haven't really done a whole lot but thank you. I also repalced my stock antenna and applied an overlay on the B-Pillars. Hopefully within the next year or so I'm hoping to add a full body kit and 20 inch rims. :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

congrats. that trophies tall enough to be used as a hood prop! :D but really, the fact that you weren't ready and still took 1st goes to show how constantly taking care of your car can pay off! :)

Thanks.

That's why I'm just amazed that I got 1st place. To think that I beat some cars that surely have spent hours prepping for this show. :p

Here's the trophy proping the hood open :p

Its a great idea. I use one at shows all the time to show off my undercarriage. People really love looking at the undercarriage and its so much easier than bending down. Click on the link in my sig for pictures.

Thanks Pat.

Your Z is simply AMAZING. :bow

That's got to be one of the best Z32's that I've seen. :xyxthumbs

I haven't really paid too much attention to the undercarriage before but I saw cars this past show just show casing theirs and I'm envious of them. That's the area where my Z is lacking. :(

How do I even begin to clean it?????

Jack it up..goggles...good cleaner...parts brush...lol..I have no idea, that is one place I have never ventured.
