1st PC attempt--2004 Acura TSX *pics*

Finally got the time and the weather to try out the PC I got for Xmas. Awesome! My process was:

Wash with NXT

Clay with Clay Magic

Optimum Compound on LC Orange (just a few spots)

Optimum Polish on LC White

AJ Trigger

My original plan was to go OC->OP->Poli-Seal->AJT. The car just didn't need that much correction, so I skimped a bit (if you call 9 hours of work skimping.) I still need to clean the windows and dress the tires, but I think it looks good for a first time polisher.....Comments and critiques much appreciated!

Hey, great job on the car. The PC really makes things much easier don't you think? Just baught a Dewalt so I am excited about trying that out soon. Gotta order some more things first though. I'm on my way though!!

P.S. The detail bug will get you everytime! Enjoy buddy!

Yeah, silver is good and bad. I love how it generally looks nice even when dirty. However, it is also not as rewarding to detail.

That being said, this car did not sparkle like this when I got it new 3 years ago! It looks at least twice as "metallic" as it used to. And it is sooooooo slick!

I'll be in the market for a new car soon, and I'm hoping my proficiency with the PC will give me the confidence to get a darker car next time. I'll never buy a black car again, but I'd like to stay away from silver and white next time. Thanks for the comments!
